Scott Grimes, CEO & Co-Founder
Scott is an experienced entrepreneur and strategist. Prior to founding Cardlytics, Scott was a Senior Vice President at Capital One where he developed and launched decoupled debit - a product that is transforming retail banking and enables national direct marketing of debit products. At Canaan Partners, Scott worked on the investing side of the start-up world leading investments in early-stage tech companies. Scott was a Senior Vice President of the leading e-Sourcing company FreeMarkets. He also spent eight years on an airplane as a Principal at McKinsey & Co and began his career with a 10 year stint at Schlumberger as an electrical engineer. Scott holds a BSEE from Union College and an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business.


Lynne Laube, President & Co-Founder
Lynne is an entrepreneurial banker. Before deciding to reinvent loyalty in banking with Cardlytics, Lynne built the Payments business at Capital One which launched ground-breaking decoupled debit and prepaid product lines. Lynne was with Capital One for 13 years, joining when the company had a few hundred employees. She held a number of leadership positions and played a key role in the formation growth of the core US Credit Card business, the UK business, Business to Business lending and Card Partnerships. She began her career at Bank One. Lynne holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from University of Cincinnati's College of Business and is a graduate of Darden's Executive Leadership program.


Marc Ginsberg, EVP, Merchant Services
Marc has over 15 years experience in sales leadership, consulting and general management.  Most recently, Marc lead the Commercial division of DIRECTV in El Segundo, California where he was responsible for setting their place based media strategy.  Prior to that, Marc served as Vice President of Business Development for Catalina Marketing Corporation.  In this role, Marc worked with customer purchase data to develop highly targeted marketing and promotional campaigns for his clients.  Marc started his career at Procter & Gamble and later worked as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting where he lead marketing and product development strategy projects in the retail and travel markets.  Ginsberg holds an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA and a BS in Decision Information Sciences from the University of Florida.


Andrew Hamilton, SVP, Engineering
Andrew has over 20 years experience in Software Engineering. He began his technology career as a research developer with IBM in 1988, progressing to the role of Senior Architect working on government and corporate projects in the USA, New Zealand and the UK. Andrew left IBM to join a promising start-up - WebMD. Andrew was WebMD's Technical Director responsible for managing the development of the flagship consumer page (www.webmd.com), content management and news syndication. Prior to joining Cardlytics, Andrew was a Director for Intercontinental Exchange. Andrew also independently consults to major health care companies on critical issues surrounding IT security and HIPAA.


David Torgerson, SVP, Financial Institution Sales
Torgerson is a proven industry innovator and patent holder for payments technology with 18 years of sales experience. Prior to Cardlytics, he served as vice president of Electronic Billing Solutions for CheckFree. In that role, Torgerson led the sales strategy for the company’s payment, electronic billing, and remittance processing products to top banks and merchants. He also led the launch of eBill Direct, a system that enabled Web site billing and payment capabilities. David holds a BS from Otterbein College.


Rod Witmond, SVP, Product Management & Marketing
Rod has over 15 years’ experience in Product Management, Marketing and General Management roles. Most recently, Rod headed the Product Management group for Ceridian, an HRPR provider, where he was responsible for setting and promoting the product direction. At Neopost, an international logistic company, headquartered in Paris, Rod served as Vice President, Strategic Marketing where he was driving forward-looking strategies involving the combination of new technologies and their impact on future products and services. Before this, Rod served as Vice President Operations and General Manager at eStamp Corporation driving processes to support significant growth and revenue achievement. Rod also served as Principal Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. A UK native, Rod began his career with 11 years as an aviator and officer in the Royal Navy. Rod holds an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BSc. in Systems and Management from City University in London.


Kristin D. Koepenick, VP, Finance
Kristin’s analytical ability and entrepreneurial spirit have made her a key contributor in a variety of roles at eCommerce companies over the past 18 years. She is an expert in profitability analysis of online transaction based businesses, leveraging those skills both to explore strategic opportunities and to simply focus company resources on what will yield the best return. Previous to Cardlytics, she was at CheckFree, where her business analysis and strategic planning helped grow the core bill pay business by double digits—profitably—for many years. She began her career in lending, moved on to corporate finance in Planning and Analysis at First Data, and also enjoyed work as an independent consultant in prior years. She holds a BA from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the University of Miami with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.


Jason Brooks, SVP, Business Development & MD, United Kingdom
Jason has extensive background at the intersection of payments and retail. Prior to joining Cardlytics, Jason was VP of Product Development at Meta Bank, responsible for the new product management strategy. Jason entered the payments space in 2002 by founding a payroll card company which was successfully acquired 18 months later, eventually rolling up into InComm. At InComm, Jason was responsible for Financial Services overseeing the US and international launch and growth of products like Visa gift cards and money remittance at retail. Jason served a two year stint as a business development volunteer with the Peace Corps in Central Asia. Jason holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA from University of Florida. 


John Brown, SVP, Client Services
John Brown is an experienced technology client manager and strategist. Prior to joining Cardlytics, John was Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Fiserv, a leading online banking and core bank processing vendor. During his seven years, John led a business unit and played a key role in strategy formulation for the online banking and bill pay businesses. During his tenure, he conducted groundbreaking research in online bill pay behavior patterns, later published as a Kellogg business school case study. Prior to Fiserv, John was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. and a sales representative with General Electric. He began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy onboard a nuclear submarine. John holds a BS in Physics from Tulane University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.


Craig Snodgrass, SVP, Channel Performance & Analytics
Craig has over 17 years experience in operations, analytics and product development. He began his career as a Chemical Engineer at Honeywell where he applied Six Sigma methodologies to drive key improvements across a variety of operations and product/site launches. Craig entered the payments industry in 2000 where he spent the next 10 years at Capital One in a variety of roles across marketing and operations, each leveraging his deep expertise in process and analytics. During his tenure, he helped design, launch and manage the Decoupled Debit product. Craig holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MS in Math from Virginia Commonwealth University.


Patrick Venker, SVP, Merchant Analytics
Pat has cultivated a rich background in behavior-based analytics, loyalty shopper card marketing, household panel studies, direct marketing, customer segmentation, campaign measurement, international expansion and strategic marketing through several key posts. Most notably, as Vice President, Analytical Services for Catalina Marketing, he spent 17 years building and managing the Analytics department from inception to over 40 employees in support of retail and manufacturer sales. During his tenure, he worked with several Fortune 500 clients, including Proctor & Gamble, Nestle, Coca Cola, General Mills, ConAgra, Unilever, Target, Safeway, Kroger, and Ahold. Pat has also worked for the Nielsen Company as Vice President, Group Director on the Coca Cola North America account in Atlanta. His early career in research included time at Con Agra, Ralston Purina and MCI Telecommunications. Venker holds an MBA from Southern Illinois - Edwardsville and a BS in Finance from the University of Florida.
