Case Study: Local Apparel

THE CLIENT: A hot-performing local apparel retailer partnered with Cardlytics to jump start their marketing efforts in 2011.

THE SOLUTION: In order to stay in-tune with the local college crowd, Cardlytics helped the retailer develop a detailed targeting strategy to effectively reach customers who had recently made a purchase in the women's apparel category.  Furthermore, to fully leverage the capabilities of the Cardlytics targeting engine, the reward offer amount was uniquely tailored to both existing customers and potential new customers.

THE RESULTS: After only 45 days, the retailer was already 'schooling' the competition. In fact, even before the 45-day campaign had finished, over a third of the new customers brought in by the campaign had already returned to the local apparel retailer on a repeat shopping trip.
