THE STRATEGY: Cardlytics worked with the retailers to develop innovative transaction-driven marketing strategies targeting two specific customer segments:
New Customers- This campaign was highly effective in bringing in repeat customers. Over the 10 month period, for every $1 spent on a reward trip, new customers spent $2.79 on subsequent trips.
Current Customers- Cardlytics was also able to demonstrate an uptick in spend from loyal customers. After implementing the strategy, the retailer saw a 67% increase in sales from current customers who redeemed offers.
