Our mission is to deliver content that is relevant and meaningful to you based on your purchases as shown by the participating bank's records. To accomplish that goal, our proprietary software – sitting in the bank’s secure data center and under the control of bank personnel - aggregates your purchasing transactions from the bank records in an anonymous manner with data from other online banking users from the same financial institution. We refer to this aggregated data as “Anonymous Data.” Our Anonymous Data is not and cannot be linked to personal information about you, like your name or bank account number. The anonymous transaction information is identified only by a randomly assigned ID number associated with the account. Only your bank knows which ID number is associated with each individual bank account number. We analyze and aggregate this Anonymous Data to organize users into segments based on factors such as geography and purchasing habits (“Segments”). Based on your membership in a Segment, we enable your participating bank to provide personalized offers and rewards to your interests. During this process, no personally-identifiable data ever leaves the bank. Additionally, no transaction data ever leaves the bank. We refer to this functionality as the “Cardlytics Service.” 

 

 

The Cardlytics Service does not collect any personal information which can be used to identify you. Your personally identifiable information remains at your financial institution. Cardlytics relies only on your anonymous transaction data and a unique personal identifier assigned by your bank or financial institution.   We enable the banks to use this data to tailor special offers and rewards to you as part of your bank’s customer rewards program.   We do not share individual transaction data with third parties, including our advertising partners – in fact, as previously stated, no transaction data ever leaves the security of your bank. We share only aggregate transaction data with our advertising partners as part of creating and managing their advertising campaigns. We may also share anonymous data and aggregate Segment information with third party service providers who help provide the Cardlytics Service. For example, we may store the information at a third party’s data storage facility. We do not collect, sell, rent or license any customer personal information. 

 

 

We do not collect personally identifiable information when you visit our website. We may collect information about the browsing behavior of visitors to our site to measure the effectiveness of our website, to monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors and traffic, and to enhance our offerings and services. 

Cardlytics does not collect any personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, phone number, or bank account number.  However, if you correspond with us by email, we may retain the contents of your email messages, your email address, and our response. 

 

We do not use cookies/web beacons or other “tracking” technology to provide the Cardlytics Service.

 

 

The personalized offers and rewards provided by the Cardlytics Service may include links to websites which are not owned or controlled by Cardlytics or by your bank. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. Although we do not control the bank sites you interact with to see the offers, each bank clearly shows a pop-up warning when clicking on a third party advertiser link and leaving the website.

 

 

Cardlytics provides its Cardlytics Service to Banks to administer the Banks’ customer loyalty programs. Our bank partners place a clearly-labeled opt-out link to make it very easy for consumers to choose not to receive the offers and rewards associated with our program. Please contact your bank or financial institution if you do not wish to receive personalized offers and rewards from the Cardlytics Service and it’s not clear to you how to opt out through the link provided. 

 

 

The security of your personal information is important to us. We access and use as little personal information as is possible to provide the Cardlytics Service, and we do not use any information which may be used to identify you. All of the information which can be used to identify you remains with your bank or financial institution – Cardlytics does not receive that information, furthermore, no Cardlytics personnel ever see or have access to that information. Cardlytics uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial and technical safeguards that comply with federal regulations to preserve the integrity and security of all information that we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important to Cardlytics. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information from children under 13 on our website. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us using the contact information listed.
