Senior Support Engineer
Location: Taipei office (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week)
Work Hours: 10am-7pm Taiwan Time

About the Position
As a Support Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of the Cardlytics Rewards Platform. You’ll independently troubleshoot and resolve support tickets, manage complex technical issues, and provide both first- and second-level support for our software, hardware, and network systems. This role involves monitoring system health, maintaining meticulous documentation, collaborating closely with product teams, and communicating updates to customers. You’ll also have opportunities to develop training materials and preventive maintenance routines, all while applying best practices in security and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Issue Resolution: Independently handle and resolve customer support tickets, addressing moderate technical issues with Cardlytics Rewards Platform.
Technical Support: Provide both first and second-level support, diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and network issues.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of troubleshooting steps and customer interactions.
Escalation Management: Escalate complex issues with thorough documentation and analysis.
System Monitoring: Oversee system performance and manage reports on any downtime or disruptions.
Customer Communication: Manage communication with customers regarding issue status and updates.
Feedback Loop: Collaborate with product teams to relay customer feedback and suggest improvements.
Training and Guidance: Develop comprehensive help guides and training materials for users and internal staff.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
Compliance and Security: Adhere strictly to data security and privacy policies.
Technical Expectations
Advanced Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of relevant software, hardware, and network systems.
Solid Troubleshooting Skills: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving a range of technical issues.
Proficiency in Operating Systems: Well-versed in multiple operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Networking Knowledge: Good understanding of advanced networking concepts.
Scripting and Automation: Capable of creating scripts for automation and efficiency.
Database Management: Proficient in database management and troubleshooting.
Application Support: Experienced in supporting and troubleshooting key applications.
Security Practices: Knowledgeable in advanced cybersecurity measures.
Cloud Technologies: Competent with various cloud services and infrastructures, including AWS and Databricks.
Tools and Technologies: Skilled in using advanced support tools and technologies, including but not limited to Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, Sumo Logic, Databricks, and Amazon Athena for monitoring, logging, and analytics.
Technical Environment
We primarily use macOS and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). While our preferred platform is macOS, we support both macOS and Windows. Familiarity with or willingness to work within this environment is required.

Senior Software Engineer, Backend
Location: Taipei office (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week)
About the Team
Cardlytics is establishing an engineering hub in Taiwan, and building a productive and innovative engineering team there. This engineering team will be an integral part of the Cardlytics engineering organization. The team will be responsible for the successful software delivery of key products and services, and contribute to the advancement of Cardlytics’ platform and product suite.
About the Position
Cardlytics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to report to the Manager of Engineering in Taiwan. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing scalable, high-performance, and robust software features that power our innovative platform and product suite. You will collaborate with global engineering teams, product managers, and peers to design and implement key products and services that align with the company’s business objectives.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the success of our engineering team in Taiwan while directly impacting the growth of Cardlytics' platform and product offerings
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing new applications and features provide advertisers and publishers with actionable insights and data services.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to define, evaluate, and develop software solutions in alignment with business goals
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code to ensure software quality.
Addressing technical challenges and finding solutions using modern technologies and creative methods
Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in software development, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality implementations
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Go or TypeScript
Great communication and collaboration skills in English
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with implementing and scaling distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
Practical experience with AWS ecosystem such as S3, Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, API gateway, Terraform, EMR and others
Knowledge of programmatic advertising, ad serving platforms, and auction-based systems for targeted advertising
Experience with large-scale data processing technologies like Scala/Spark, Airflow or real-time systems like Kafka
Experience leveraging Generative AI technologies, such as LLM, Prompt engineering, RAG and Agentic workflow

Senior Software Engineer, Platform
Location: Taipei office (Hybrid 2-3 days per week)
About the Team
Cardlytics is establishing an engineering hub in Taiwan, and building a productive and innovative engineering team there. The platform engineering group is responsible for the platforms that host production and development systems for Cardlytics. The team is responsible for CI/CD pipelines, software development process automation and production and test systems. This is a critical supporting function that powers all software development, data analytics, and AI/ML product teams at the company.
About the Position
Cardlytics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to report to the Manager of Engineering in Taiwan. In this role, you will work on software development systems automation and infrastructure and platform as code. The position will be responsible for SDLC automation and IaC management in our AWS environment. This position also requires coordinating with various internal customer teams on organization wide projects.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the success of our engineering team in Taiwan while directly impacting the growth of Cardlytics' platform and product offerings
Responsibilities:
Develop, operate, and support SDLC automation
Provide technical input in the design, implementation, and operation of infrastructure via IaC mechanisms.
Coordinate with internal customer teams to understand requirements of new products and features.
Provide input in the design of secure and cost optimal SDLC systems.
Participate in the evaluation of new technologies and products.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in the field, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality implementations
Solid knowledge of CI/CD processes, SDLC, familiarity with GitHub automation (GitHub workflows and actions)
Practical experience with AWS service such as EKS, S3, Lambda, ELB and API gateway
Great communication and collaboration skills in English
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Preferably Terraform.
Hands-on experience with managing Kubernetes clusters, Karpenter, and Helm
Experience in observability systems using tools like Grafana or Datadog
Experience leveraging Generative AI technologies, such as LLM, Prompt engineering, RAG, and Agentic workflow
